The Farms
Waitapu Farms supplies Fonterra; the supply numbers are 15419 and 15429.
Waitapu Farms is a 350ha dairy platform currently producing 250,000 kgMS. 750 Friesian-cross dairy cows are milked out of two herringbone sheds (32 and 36AS).
The 100Ha adjoining run off currently supports an additional 100+ replacement heifers and approximately 120 R2 heifers. This block is also used for grass silage and there is a 190 calf rearing facility with other support buildings.
