Directions from Auckland
- Drive up north on State Highway 1, past Warkworth towards Wellsford.
- Approximately 3 kms before Wellsford, just as the last passing lane before Wellsford commences, is the turn off to Tomarata. A large blue sign post indicating the turn off is on your right hand side.
- This first turn off to Tomarata is Wayby Valley Rd; follow this to the very end approx. 5.9 kms.
- At the intersection of Wayby Valley Rd and Whangaripo Road turn right; then turn into Tomarata Valley Rd, the second road on your left.
- Follow Tomarata Valley Road to the very end (approx 8.5kms) where you will come to a T intersection; turn right into School Road. You'll see a big red woolshed – this marks the western boundary of Waitapu Farm.
- Travel along School Road to the end of the sealed section passing both the small school and community hall on your left.
- 683 School Rd is approx half a kilometre on the on left not far along the metal road.
Directions to Auckland
- Go back along School Rd turn left on sealed section of road, being Tomarata Valley Road.
- Follow Tomarata Valley Road to the very end approx 8.5kms.
- At T intersection turn right into Whangaripo Road.
- A short distance along first left is Wayby Valley Rd and a sign post to Auckland.
- Turn left into Wayby Valley Road follow to the very end approx 5.9kms.
- You will meet State Highway 1 at the end of this road; turn left and follow back to Auckland passing through Warkworth.

The small town of Wellsford is our closest location for convenience.
- Turn right out your driveway and continue 2.4kms. Turn left onto Tomarata Valley Road.
- After 8.5kms turn right.
- After approximately 3.6kms you will be able to turn left onto the main Rodney Street in Wellsford.
Wellsford has a variety of cafes, a Subway and a McDonalds a couple of petrol stations (Caltex and Mobil) and a 4 Square for any grocery needs.
Local Supermarkets and convenient stores - Warkworth
Warkworth is located approximately 32 kms South West of Radcliffe Cottage. Warkworth has many clothing stores, opshops, bakeries, a library, restaurants, cafes, beauty therapists, hairdressers and a New World supermarket.
- Turn right out your driveway and continue 2.4kms. Turn left onto Tomarata Valley Road.
- After 8.5kms turn right.
- After 0.6kms turn left onto Wayby Valley Road.
- After 5.9kms go left onto State Highway 1.
- You will come to the 1st set of lights where you may turn into Warkworth main street or continue to the second set of lights for a short cut to the New World supermarket located on Percy Street. Turn left at the 2nd set of lights off SH1, continue along 200m until you see Palmer Street on your right and Percy Street is located on your first left.
